We Had a Great Time at Our July Pricing and Profit Management Luncheons!

July was a busy month for our events. We had Pricing and Profit Management Luncheons in 3 locations: Chicagoland on July 11th, Minneapolis–St. Paul on July 13th, and Grand Rapids on July 18th.

About 20 people joined us at our Chicagoland luncheon at the historic Union League Club of Chicago. About a dozen people joined us at our Minneapolis–St. Paul luncheon at the Minneapolis Club. And our Grand Rapids luncheon was an intimate gathering at the University Club of Grand Rapids. It was a pleasure to meet and discuss pricing with attendees from across the Midwest.

We had several speakers at our events. DeAnn Hammer (Pricing Operations Director for 3M’s Safety and Industrial Business Group) spoke in Chicago. Greg Smith (Strategic Pricing Director at Johnson Controls) spoke in Minneapolis. Tim J. Smith (Founder and CEO at Wiglaf Pricing) discussed his Pricing Spine-o-Meter at all 3 luncheons. We were happy to have all our speakers share their knowledge with us!

Our attendees had a great time, and we are already planning for our next Pricing and Profit Management Luncheons in February. We will be in Chicagoland at the Union League Club of Chicago on Tuesday, February 6th. We will be in Minneapolis–St. Paul at the Minneapolis Club on Thursday, February 8th. We will be in Kansas City at the Carriage Club on Tuesday, February 13th.

Our featured industry speaker for Chicago will be Laurie Flowers (Senior Manager, Price and Margin Excellence at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.). Our featured industry speaker for Minneapolis–St. Paul will be Elaine Chong (Director of Global Pricing at nVent Hoffman). Tim J. Smith (Founder and CEO at Wiglaf Pricing) will be our pricing thought leader at all 3 luncheons. Get your tickets today!

Nathan L. Phipps is a Senior Consultant at Wiglaf Pricing. His areas of focus include pricing transformations, marketing analysis, conjoint analysis, and commercial policy. Before joining Wiglaf Pricing, Nathan worked as a pricing analyst at Intermatic Inc. (a manufacturer of energy control products) where he dealt with market pricing and the creation of price variance and minimum advertised price policies. His prior experience includes time in aerosol valve manufacturing and online education. Nathan holds an MBA with distinction in Marketing Strategy and Planning & Entrepreneurship from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a BA in Biology & Philosophy from Greenville College. He is based in Chicago, Illinois.
